MY BOOK SUGGESTION
I began my adult life working as an Administrative Assistant but as far as I remember, I always loved Interior Design. I also always felt that "Entrepreneurial Vibe" inside that led me to what I am today.
We bought our first property in 2001. Then we decided to sell it two years later to buy a duplex. This whole process of selling and buying turned out pretty exciting to me. Here's how I discovered my passion for Real Estate.
We did a few transactions until now and along the way in 2006, I started as a Home Staging Expert.
In 2011, I became a Certified Real Estate Investor after completing a 10 months Real Estate Investment Coaching Program, issued by the "Real Estate Investors Club of Quebec" (Club d'Investisseurs Immobiliers du Québec), the largest French Real Estate Investment Club in the world. After that great experience, I knew I would keep learning for the rest of my life !
Then we moved to Alberta in 2012. At that moment, I was still working as an Administrative Assistant (who turned into Virtual Assistant because I left Quebec but my clients have not left me. We created a system that allowed us to be very efficient and productive).
After a year, I decided to take a pause to think about what I really wanted to do with my life. Six months later, I came to the point where I decided to live my passion in full. I was going to study Interior Design !
Obtaining my interior design diploma in April 2015 was a turning point for me. With this diploma in hand, the foundations of my new life were laid.
More than anything this decision, taken two years earlier, sealed all my passions together. I am now ready to undertake new challenges. I love the challenges that Interior Design and Real Estate Investment brings. The rewards that comes with overcoming these challenges are always beyond all expectations...
Oh ! And by the way, did I mention I am eager to learn ?
Indeed, in order to pursue my lifelong learning I am currently enrolled in the Residential Interiors Certificate Program at the University of Alberta.
Always more challenges to come... And I love it !
"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress.
